The 21st Century library isn’t just about books

Hello! Sorry it’s been awhile…

Today, to my surprise, my Google news feed under “Entertainment” contained an article from ABCNews highlighting that libraries are not only about books these days.

Since the traditional notion of a library is in flux at the moment, libraries are indeed becoming creative in how best to serve their community. The article mainly addresses the borrowing of tools from various libraries across the country.

I am aware that some of Colorado’s libraries have expanded into areas not considered the normal library fare. Please care to share some of your library’s more unique items a patron can borrow. It may just spur an idea or two for others!
