New StoryBlocks Videos

Colorado Libraries for Early Literacy (CLEL)—a group of librarians working to strengthen children’s literacy through library services and community advocacy—in collaboration with Rocky Mountain PBS, have just added 8 new videos to the StoryBlocks website, including 2 in Spanish!
The website now features 25 short videos (7 total in Spanish) designed to model to parents, caregivers, preschool teachers, and library staff some songs, rhymes, and fingerplays appropriate for early childhood. Each video includes helpful early literacy tips to increase caregivers’ understanding of child development and pre-literacy needs. Check out StoryBlocks to see all the videos, and let your patrons know about this great resource too!
