New Directors Forum…and Haiku

The Colorado State Library and the Colorado Library Consortium hosted a two day forum for new library directors. We had 17 attendees who traveled from all over the state to Buena Vista while viewing a mixture of snow and yellow aspens.

Lots of information was shared, and everyone had several chances to network including at a reception at the Buena Vista Library, thanks to Gail Nottingham. NDF - participants

Jeff Donlan inspired us to think about collaboration in terms of haiku and here are some of the creations. Thanks to all for your efforts to attend and your willingness to share your expertise.

Librarians are
collaborators by nature. What
have you read lately?

Collaboration
Creates Stronger Libraries
in Colorado.

Collaboration
makes impossible challenge
possible for all

Collaboration
Means never having to be
Alone in knowledge.

Collaboration.
When we all get together
Sometimes we argue.

How do I do this?
Collaboration with you.
Wait! Do I like you?
